A school is a building that has four walls with tomorrow inside. -Lon Watters

With the economic and cultural struggles, hope recedes. Outlooks are uncertain and our leaders falter to make things better due to political rhetoric and positioning. This cultural and economic "cliff" is especially felt in smaller, more rural communities of Wisconsin. But let's vigorously grasp at the hope we can find in order to make the world better than how we found it. The solution is to invest in things closest to us; in our children and in our communities. Such an investment offers vitality to our future.

School Board Meeting March 6

Tonight's school board meeting began their discussions regarding next year's budget. State government is offering little to no aid increases for next year. Almost thirty ways were discussed to trim the budget in attempts to meet the shortfall, many would hinder the GREAT things happening in the schools.

A YES vote for the four referendum questions, not only allows for financial space for the schools to continue doing GREAT things but also would allow the district improvements that would help attract potential students and community members.
